Testimonials

On 5/24/2025 Andrea Ellington had this to say:
I first came to this independent bookstore to buy a baby shower book (they have a fantastic children's section, I especially recommend Marianne Richmond as gift books). This bookstore was a major bonus when I found a job in the area. Bookstores are the heartbeat of the city, and that is the case here. There are so many community events my husband and I love being part of. If you love to read, write, and are looking for a community of readers--take a stop by and say hi. The environment is cozy and warm and the people who work there are just as such!

On 4/20/2025 Karen Roberts had this to say:
I always come here when I am visiting my aunt. I am from California and I love used bookstores because I go through books very quickly. I told the owner that I had read all the books of “my authors” that she had in the used section. She asked who I liked to read and suggested a new author and found me one of his early books in His series. I had it read before I got home from my vacation and she was right! I liked him. Now I have a new author to collect and read through!!! She was sweet and helpful and especially knowledgeable about authors and topics!! Very impressive. And the store is a cute and welcoming place. I’ll be back!!

On 2/13/2025 Kim Barnette Hooper had this to say:
This little shop is the sweetest! I live in Columbia, but pass through Dickson on my way to visit in-laws in McEwen. I try to stop by whenever I can!

On 12/10/2024 Eric Ramseur had this to say:
Angela loves this community. She loves stories and storytellers. Reading Rock Books has a great selection, and if there's anything I can't find there, I know I can order it. I believe I'm at my 200th order, no joke.

On 10/2/2024 Douglas Reinhardt had this to say:
Amazing book store with a home town feel. Love the selections! We visit every time we are in town.
